About Us
We are more than a supplier of innovative, high-quality low vision and pain relief products: we, in addition to our role as care provider, are also a service provider that supports every user before and, in particular, after the purchase of an aid.
Rehan Electronics was founded by René van Lent in 1986. During the intervening more than thirty years his one-man business has evolved into an international organization with branches in the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany and Belgium – a company with a wide product range and a large group of satisfied customers.
Our product range has a leitmotif: we wish to help people who certainly deserve some support. Our target group encompasses people with a visual impairment, people suffering from pain: our goal is to make their lives a little more enjoyable.
Green Factory
All of our own products are produced in our “green” factory in Ireland. The factory buildings were constructed using environmentally friendly materials. Yet what makes it truly unique is that the building process itself was done as environmentally friendly as possible.
Passive House Plus, an Irish architectural magazine, called Rehan’s new production facility an “industrial revolution”. We acchieved this by instead of using concrete pillars to uphold the roof, to use a truss system consisting of wooden beams made out of FSC-certified trees from Latvia.

Research & Development
There is collaboration between the group of companies on multiple levels. Together we make sure that quality is good and the procedures are followed.
Our marketing and sales and R&D Department located in the Netherlands and the multiple distributors from the group company keep each other posted on developments try to learn and grow together.
Certifications
We have received NEN-EN-ISO 9001 certification for the supply and installation of medical equipment. This standard imposes stringent requirements on an organization’s quality management system. We have also implemented a QHSE policy (Quality, occupational Health and Safety, and Environment) and have appointed a QHSE Officer. We conduct customer-satisfaction surveys with great regularity, as we make every effort to maintain and improve our level whenever possible.
